The following is a procedure for creating the perfect plot file for Winter Park Blue. Please make note of this procedure when sending files to Winter Park Blue.
1. Open your drawing in AutoCAD 2000 and zoom extents to ensure there is no extraneous info or drawing material on your drawing.
2. Type Plot and press Enter. The Plot Dialogue Box will appear.

3. On the Plot Device Tab, select the HP-GL2 755cm plotter. If you do not have this plotter configured, see HP/GL-2 plotter setup below.

4. Next, on the Plot Device Tab, select your .CTB file. This is the file that allows you to select and edit your lineweights and screens. Set lineweights using the Lineweight box and set the color using the Color box. If you wish for your lines to print black, pick black; otherwise, if you wish for them to print gray, pick a gray color. You can also print screened lines if you prefer by setting all colors to print black and setting a screen percentage in the Screening box.

5. On the Plot Settings Tab, select your paper size and plot scale.

6. Click OK.
1. With AutoCAD2000 open, select File > Plotter Manager > Add-a-Plotter Wizard.
2. Click Next, Next.
3. Select Hewlett-Packard from the Manufacturers list and Designjet755CM from the models list.
4. Click Continue, then click Next.
5. Click Plot To File at the top of the window.
6. Name the plotter HP/GL-2 755cm and click Next.
7. Click Finish.
1. Open your drawing in AutoCAD R14 and zoom extents to ensure there is no extraneous info or drawing material on your drawing.
2. Type Plot and press Enter. The Plot Dialogue Box will appear.

3. At the top-left corner of the Plot Dialogue Box, click Device and Default Selection and choose the HP-GL2 755cm plot device. If you do not have this plotter configured, see HP/GL-2 plotter setup below.

4. Next, click Pen Assignments. Set your lineweights in the far right column. If you wish for your lines to print black, pick black; otherwise, if you wish for them to print gray, pick a gray color.

5. Set your scale and any custom paper sizes.
6. Click OK.
1. With AutoCAD R14 open, type Config in the command line and press Enter.
2. Click New.
3. Click Hewlett-Packard HP-GL/2 Devices, ADI4.3 for Autodesk by HP and type HP-GL2 755cm in the space at the bottom of the window, then click OK.
4. The first plotter on the list should be 755cm. If not, pick 18.
5. Press Enter until you are asked, "Do you want to change anything?" Type Y and press Enter.
6. Press Enter until you are asked, "Writer plot to file?" Type Y and press ENTER.
7. Continue pressing Enter until setup has finished.
