Hi-Res Color Scanning

Capture images up to 12"x18" at resolutions up to an incredible 10,000 ppi. This hi-res digital scanner is used for higher quality in enlargements.

Construction Document Archiving

If you’re like a lot of people, you’ve probably got a closet somewhere in your office overflowing with rolls of old plans and specifications. At Thomas Reprographics, we can digitize your hard copy originals with our large format scanner and save them to CD or DVD media, effectively reducing the overflowing closet to a few discs in your desk drawer. Thomas Reprographics can scan hard copy originals up to 36” wide by any length.

Scanned documents are saved in the Adobe PDF format, allowing you to easily access or print each sheet with the free Adobe Reader software. Additionally, the ability to email PDF copies of your plans eliminates the hassle of breaking down sets of drawings to deliver a single sheet to the print shop, saving you time and money. You also have the option to have your scanned documents converted into searchable text with powerful OCR technology.

Archiving to CD also makes it easy to prevent information loss. Since storage space is no longer an issue, there’s no reason not to keep one set of discs in your office, and a backup set in a safe, off-site location.

Large Format Color Scanning

With our Cruse Scanner, we can scan your original flat artwork or four-color reproductions that would ordinarily be too big for conventional scanners. We can capture your artwork in full, vivid color, at resolutions from 75 to 500 ppi, and sizes up to 48"x72" and up to 3" thick.

Once your image is scanned, you can output it to any of our color printers, including our color laser copiers, inkjet printers, and photographic Durst Lambda and LightJet 5000 printers. We can also save your scan to disk on a variety of media. It’s great for archiving your full color artwork and designs in a compact, portable solution.
